Advisory Board

Advisory boards are not the same as directors, but serve a different role, as a non-legal group of overseers, with significant backgrounds and experience in their field of expertise. Their presence is for unbiased, and therefore non-partisan, guidance for the direction and compliance of GEMA’s vision. They are advisers to the directors on important decisions, to assist in clarifying any requirements they see fit, from a party of experts who will not be receiving benefits from their decisions. These are a group of individuals who will ensure that GEMA adheres to the laws and bylaws as required by the status as a non-profit, and as a religious organization.

The Advisory Board is here to oversee GEMA, rather than to be approached by members; however, we wanted you to know that beyond the direct leaders and staff of GEMA, we have the steady hands of chosen individuals who volunteer their time to assist in guiding important decisions.
